health effects of isolation
Definición
- Social epidemiologists have traditionally defined social isolation as low levels of social integration, indexed by fewer and less diverse social connections with others. Conversely, higher levels of social integration are evidenced by increased numbers of various social ties, including ties with family, friends, religions, clubs, and other group memberships that create social relations with others.
