Definición

  • Mennonites, members of a Protestant group that originated in the 16th-century Anabaptist movement in Europe, migrated to North America in several waves that began in 1683 and continued into the mid-20th century. Differences in ethnicity, history, and convictions have produced some thirty different Mennonite groups in the United States. [Source: Encyclopedia of Race, Ethnicity, and Society; Mennonites]
