Berlin crises
Definición
- The former Nazi capital, Berlin, was both literally and metaphorically, at the center in the postwar conflict between the East and the West. The city, occupied by rival powers, repeatedly emerged as a site of high tensions that threatened to convert the Cold War into a “hot” shooting war between the United States and the Soviet Union.
