Definición
- Music is often rehearsed, performed, and listened to indoors, and the indoor architectural environment contributes much more than shelter from the weather. The important acoustical functions of rooms include providing a quiet environment; containing the sound so that it does not annoy others; concentrating the sound, so that it is sufficiently loud to satisfy a large audience; enhancing musicians' ability to hear each other and play as an ensemble; and enhancing the quality of musical sound.
