Definición
- On-scene drug and alcohol testing refers to the battery of tests conducted by a police officer after a traffic stop when the officer suspects that the person pulled over is under the influence of either alcohol or illegal drugs. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has come up with a standardized test that is to be completed by all officers while on a traffic stop suspecting the influence of illegal substances.
