Definición
- CANCER SCREENING, OR the detection of cancer at an early enough stage for effective treatment, is a complex set of behaviors that involves scientific reasoning, implementation of societal values, economics, medical policy making, education, and individual choice. Cancer screening saves lives, yet the value of screening is not universally understood, nor do all population groups have equal access.
