Definición
- Hydrotherapy is a part of medicine that involves the use of water to treat illness and promote health. While water has been regarded as a therapeutic agent since ancient times, it became a therapeutic intervention for mental illnesses in the late 19th century and represents one of the earliest efforts at treating psychiatric illness through somatic or bodily interventions.
