Definición
- Moxibustion is a treatment modality of traditional Chinese medicine in which the herb moxa (mugwort or Artemlsia vulgaris) is heated and applied directly or indirectly to particular sections of the body. Recipients report feeling localized internal warming in and around the treated area, resulting in generalized feelings of relaxation and overall increased energy (called chi or qi).
