  • Networked organizations (or network organizations) are a particular form of employing organization, often referring to for-profit firms that are small, are entrepreneurial, and rely on other organizations for their survival and growth. Of course, all organizations in which people work are rife with networks—both internal networks among workers or units and external networks with other organizations.
