Définition
- John Bowlby, the originator of Attachment Theory, proposed that humans have a biologically based inclination to form strong emotional bonds with others, called attachment bonds. From infancy through adulthood, these close attachment relationships provide a sense of emotional security, and being without or losing these relationships leaves people distressed and lonely.
