Définition
- Communities are important social institutions that are often defined by their members' residence in a common locality, the network of interpersonal ties that provide sociability and support to their members, and the solidarity, sentiments, and activities that develop among members as they pursue their common goals. The existence of common norms and values is seen as an important source of social order and their weakening as a source of tension and conflict.
