minimum-wage and low-wage jobs
Définition
- Jobs with low pay share a number of characteristics beyond wage levels. Researchers generally define low-wage jobs by earnings, not in relation to the statutory minimum wage set by the federal government or the higher minimum wages many states have set, but in relation to poverty measures or median wages.
