Définition
- Resistance training (RT; also strength training or weight training) is a well-established form of exercise that results in improved physical and mental health. When properly prescribed, RT increases muscle strength, speed, size, power, endurance, balance, and coordination, and it can reduce the risks of several chronic diseases and physical and mental impairments.
