  • Interorganizational networks describe social networks in which the nodes represent organizations. A variety of relations are possible between organizations, including interlocking directorates, shared membership, economic transactions, ownership, knowledge/information sharing, public affiliation (representational links), physical distance, semantic, and two-mode networks such as event/coalition membership.
