pay for performance
Définition
- Pay for performance (known as “p4p” in health care circles) refers to the practice of basing payments on the outcome of a health care service, not simply its delivery. While p4p has been discussed for decades, only relatively recently have actual pay-for-performance schemes been put into effect, largely because they require the collection of massive amounts of information.
