  • Founded by the International Schools Association (ISA), the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma is a rigorous college-preparatory program of study created for academically advanced students. The program first began in 1964 in Switzerland, and is designed for students to critically examine six major areas of knowledge in depth, as well as how the subjects relate: mathematics and computer science, arts, individuals and societies, language, experimental sciences, and a second language.
