parent nominations
Définition
- Parent nomination is a practice that provides opportunity for parents to recommend evaluation of their child for possible inclusion into gifted programs and solicits information about a child's potential need for gifted education. Gifted children often require educational services beyond those that can be provided within the regular classroom; however, to receive special services, these children must first be recognized as having special needs.
