The origins of psychological criminology can be traced back to his career, which set the basis of modern work on the subject.Healy and his wife, Mary Tenney Healy, studied and wrote on forensic psychology and the diagnosis and prognosis of both juvenile and adult offenders while he taught at Harvard University.Diagnosis and Treatment of Juvenile DelinquentsChild psychiatry grew out of the newly formed juvenile courts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in which judges requested professional assistance in understanding the children who appeared before them in court.
