- The National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) is a nonpartisan research and advocacy group committed to restructuring the teaching profession, led by its vision that every child deserves effective teachers. By working to improve federal, state, and local teacher policies, as well as lend greater transparency to the institutions that influence teacher quality, NCTQ seeks to increase public knowledge and build a mandate for change and reform.
