Définition
- Citizenship theory explains the cultural, social, political, economic, and legal processes that regulate national membership and belonging. Citizenship's influence in communication theory has been growing for the past two decades because citizenship theory makes manifest the specific ways in which legal and material systems of society shape cultural processes of basic social participation and enfranchisement.
