- Public School 25 (P.S. 25), the Bilingual School, was founded in 1968, with Hernán LaFontaine as the school's principal and Muriel Pagan as assistant principal. Located at 811 East 149th Street, in the borough of the Bronx, in New York City, P.S. 25 was New York City's first bilingual school serving mostly Latino children.
