self-organizing networks

Définition

  • The idea at the core of self-organizing networks is that natural dynamics of units does not necessarily result in chaos but can also lead to organizing behavior yielding interdependence among units. Empirical examples of self-organizing networks (such as Wikipedia and herd behavior) contribute to the assertion that such networks are an important component of understanding social behavior.
