Définition
- Bureaucratic authoritarianism is a type of authoritarian regime that features rule by an alliance of military leaders, civilians with technical expertise (especially in economic policy), and leading business sectors. These regimes are hypothesized to form under certain conditions where a nation is attempting to industrialize and faces popular agitation or unrest that makes it difficult for elites to maintain order.
