Mother Earth
Définition
- Emma Goldman's anarchist magazine Mother Earth was one of the most influential radical periodicals during its run from 1906 through 1917, when the federal government banned it and imprisoned and deported its antiwar publisher. The text-heavy monthly espoused anarchist values of individual freedom and offered provocative critiques of the emerging corporate state. [Source: Encyclopedia of Social Movement Media; Mother Earth]
