- Students from other nations, many of African descent, have been migrating to pursue a college or university education for many years. This entry looks at the factors that contribute to the ongoing enrollment of students from Africa and the Caribbean, some of the challenges they face, the outcomes of their studentship, and the perceived tensions that exist between these students and African Americans, particularly in regard to education.
