Définition
- The concept of criminal responsibility refers to the quality or state of being morally, legally, or mentally accountable for the intentional commission of an act prohibited and punishable under criminal law. The principle of individual autonomy whereby the individual is endowed with free will and the independent capacity to choose his or her conduct is a central principle in modern criminal law.
