- The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC) accredits about a quarter of all the journalism programs in the United States and one university outside the country. The council is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to accredit programs for professional education in journalism and mass communications in four-year colleges and universities.
