- Established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Classification for Patient Safety (ICPS) strives to improve the quality and safety of healthcare. The ICPS aims to define, harmonize, and group patient safety concepts into an internationally agreed-on classification system that strives for maximum comparability on a global level.
