Définition
- Primary mental health care has been defined as first-contact care provided in the community to people experiencing or at risk of experiencing mental illness. Primary health care is the favored option for dealing with disorders such as depression and anxiety, but given widespread deinstitutionalization, it is increasingly being used to support people with disorders such as schizophrenia and mood disorders in the community.
