- Most economists agree that entrepreneurial activity is the lifeblood of a vibrant economy and is central to long-term, sustainable economic growth and development in different regional and national economies. In this context, an entrepreneur (whether social, rural, technological, academic, female, youth, immigrant, or corporative) could be an important agent who contributes to economic development.
