Florence R. Sabin

- Born on November 9, 1871, in Central City, Colorado, to George K. and Serena Miner Sabin, Florence Rena Sabin became the first female faculty member in 1902—and the first female full professor in 1917—at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
