- THE GOALS OF the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) are to improve survival for children with brain tumors through the discovery of more effective therapies, improve their quality of life, raise public awareness of childhood brain tumors, and raise money for scientific research. It is an all-volunteer organization of family members, friends, and physicians of children with brain tumors with 501(c)(3) (tax exempt, non-profit) status.
