unobtrusive measures

Définition

  • Unobtrusive measures are those data collection techniques that do not involve direct elicitation from respondents so that the information is obtained without the subject's prior knowledge. Most social research involves respondents knowing they are research subjects and it is virtually impossible to estimate the impact this knowledge has on the subsequent data.
