American Academy of Ophthalmology
Définition
- The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) was originally part of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology (AAOO), which was founded in the 1890s to provide continuing education for eye, ear, nose, and throat doctors. In 1979, the AAO was incorporated as an independent entity when the AAOO was divided into separate academies to serve physicians in the various specialties.
