Définition
- HAIRY CELL LEUKEMIA (HCL) is a B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder that, though uncommon, has received much attention due to the disease's unknown pathogenesis, unique characteristics, and varying clinical presentations. HCL is characterized by abnormal B cells that express abnormal surface antigens, causing the cell to be recognized by the body as atypical and ultimately sequestered in the spleen.
