droop quota
Définition
- In single transferable vote systems that allow voters to rank order their preferred candidates, the Droop quota establishes the minimum number of seats necessary to be elected. In this electoral procedure, once a candidate meets the minimum number of ballots necessary for election (the Droop quota), any excess votes are transferred to other candidates.
