Définition
- In 1970, Amartya K. Sen christened a simple logical impossibility “the liberal paradox.” Ever since, the problem has been discussed in political economy and philosophy. Sen's short paper spread confusion by conceptualizing liberal rights as entitlements to determine social outcomes rather than a property of social rules.
