death in the social sciences
Définition
- The interdisciplinary study of the concept of death has paralleled the interest this topic has evoked among the general population. Although some early interest is known to have existed during the early 1920s, a much greater interest emerges in the aftermath of World War II and, more particularly, during the latter half of the 20th century and well into the second decade of the 21st century.
