Sjogren's syndrome
Définition
- Sjogren's syndrome is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by decreased lacrimal and salivary gland secretion. This causes dry eyes (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) and dry mouth (xerostomia), which are hallmarks of this condition. [Source: Encyclopedia of Global Health; Sjogren's Syndrome]
