Mindel-Riss interglacial
Definition
- The Mindel-Riss interglacial (Mindel-Riß-Interglazial), also called the Holstein interglacial (German: Holstein-Warmzeit or Holstein-Interglazial), is the third to last major interglacial in the Alpine region before the Holocene, the present warm period.
