Definition
- Chromatography is a physico-chemical method used to separate the different substances present in a mixture (sample in a homogeneous liquid or gas phase). The apparatus used to perform certain chromatographies is called a chromatograph. The image or diagram obtained by chromatography is called a chromatogram.
