  • In chemistry, acidity is the concentration of H+ ions in a medium. In water, it is measured using the pH scale. For a mineral, acidity is the ratio of Si to the sum of the cations. A mineral is 50% neutral, acid beyond. (Adapted from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid)
