  • Adelaidean series (from 1300 to 542 +/- 0.3 Ma) is a unit of long standing among Australian geologists, having been introduced by David (1992) to describe the thick sequence of Precambrian sediments that conformably underlies the Cambrien in the Adelaide Geosyncline.
