physical phenomenon

Definición

  • A physical phenomenon is, for a given observation, a major aspect resulting from energy transfers on a macroscopic scale (optical phenomenon for example), with other phenomena intervening, on other scales, as factors of complementary aspects of what is observed. The bodies concerned solely by a physical phenomenon do not, in principle, undergo any transformation of their nature, their change being linked above all to their way of reacting - without alteration - to the effect of this or that form of energy; these modifications are, for this reason, often reversible.
