meteoric water

Définition

  • Hydrometeors, meteoric waters or aqueous meteors make up all atmospheric waters, whatever their state. This water may have evaporated, condensed into drops or clouds, crystallized into ice or snow, been lifted from the earth's surface by the wind or deposited on objects, or be in a stable or supercooled state. Hydrometeors are generally made up of droplets of water or ice particles suspended in the air: rain, drizzle, snow, hail, fog and so on. Their deposition on objects produces dew, frost, ice and puddles. (Adapted and translated from: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrom%C3%A9t%C3%A9ore)
