Definition
- FAIR principle that encourages long-term storage of data and metadata and ease of access and/or download, by specifying the conditions for access (open or restricted access) and use (licensing). A practical way to comply with this principle is to deposit data in a repository that ensures long-term storage and makes it accessible through an open protocol (e.g. HTTP), both for humans and machines.
