Concept information
Preferred term
reusable
Definition
- FAIR principle that highlights the characteristics that make data usable for future research or other purposes (teaching, innovation, reproduction/transparency of science). In order for data to be reusable by others, its sharing must first of all be accompanied by a licence that specifies the conditions of its use. Then, it is useful to describe the source of the data and to provide all the information needed to contextualise it.
