Définition
- Policy statement drafted during the meeting of 11 April 2003 at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA. It defines two conditions that publications must meet to be open access: a free, irrevocable right to access, copy, use, distribute and make derivative works; and deposit in an open archive ensuring open access, interoperability and long-term archiving.
