Metrostensional Nomenclatural System (MONS)
Definition
- Nomenclatural system which relies only on onomatophores (conucleogenera) for the taxonomic allocation of class-series nomina through inclusive ostension: within a given taxonomic frame, a nomen applies to the least inclusive taxon that includes all its conucleogenera. (Dubois & Raffaëlli 2012)
