Definition
- In the family-series, implicit designation of the nucleogenus of a new family-series nomen, derived from the fact that a single nominal genus included in the new family-series taxon bears a nomen the stem of which is unambiguously the stem of the new family-series nomen. Such a mode of designation is invalid after 1999. (Dubois 1984)
